In recent years, Sparta home owners have continued following the mission of the group, “To Preserve the Architectural History of the Sparta Neighborhood” by adhering to Ossining’s Historic Commission rules concerning home renovations. In 200x, the Village of Ossining rebuilt Sparta Park along the MetroNorth tracks on the western edge of the neighborhood. After several years of decline, landscaping and a playground bring local families to the park for picnics and grand views of the Hudson River. More Blah Blah Blah
